The Textile Conservation Center is seeking applicants for a one-year
full time position, with the possibility of a permanent staff
position. Responsibilities include the examination, treatment, and
documentation of a wide variety of textiles received from museums,
historical societies and private collectors. Other duties will
include collections management education for clients, developing
conservation workshops, conducting surveys, and supervising staff.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates should be graduates of a recognized training program, or
have equivalent experience. Two to three years supervised
conservation experience is required. Competitive salary, excellent
