Objects Conservators American Museum of Natural History The American Museum of Natural History anticipates hiring an assistant or associate level objects conservator for six-months commencing in January, 1999, with possible part-time continuation of the position to follow. Responsibilities include examination, documentation and treatment of wide range of anthropological and archaeological objects: preparation of objects for loan; treatment for temporary and permanent in-house exhibits; and mount and packing design. Candidates must have considerable treatment experience, as well as excellent written and communication skills and ability to work well in a group. Salary commensurate with experience.
