Long-term monitoring of historic furniture

If the HVAC system being installed at Mount Vernon is designed to
moderate fluctuations in temperature and relative humidity,  I would
question the usefulness of the proposed long-term historic furniture
project.

Most likely, the fabric of the historic structure itself is at
greater risk, and should be monitored accordingly.
