archaeology at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. The
Conservation Section has a staff of eight: four archaeological
conservators, a cultural history conservator, a storage supervisor,

organised to accommodate flexibility in staff assignments based upon
current in-house and contract projects. The laboratory is designed

prehistoric artefacts to cultural history objects. It also pursues
the development of methods, equipment and documentation for
conservation.

The Institute of Archaeology and Cultural History is seeking to fill

collections are currently undergoing an inventory and storage
revision. The post will also entail contract work for other museums
and institutions. Participating in other institutional activities
such as lecturing and supervising students in the preservation and
conservation of cultural history materials as part of the
archaeology course may also be required of the incumbent.

The position is open to graduates in cultural history conservation
from a recognised conservation training programme and those with
equivalent training. Preferably, applicants should have a number of
years of postgraduate experience. The current salary range is

independently, demonstrate initiative and work well with laboratory
staff and museum personnel.
