Course on spot testing

There are two spaces open for the course on "Spot Testing" at the
Campbell Center in Mt. Carroll IL. The instructors for the course
are Nancy Odegaard from the Arizona State Museum and Scott Carroll
from the National Museum of the American Indian.  The course will
take place October 13-17, 1998.  The class will be both lecture and
laboratory sessions for lots of hands on experiences.  The class
will cover a range of testing protocols developed specifically to
meet the needs of conservators.  The deadline for registration has
been extended to September 15, 1998.  If anyone is interested please
