Workshops

Two basic workshops are planned for the fall of 1998 and the Spring
and Summer of 1999.  These workshops will be offered in each of the
five primary states served by UMCA: Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota,
South Dakota, and Wisconsin.  The subject of one workshop will be
The Care of Library and Archival Materials, and the subject of the
second will be Preservation Planning for Cultural Institutions.

UMCA has scheduled three advanced collections-care workshops.  If
