Professional qualifications in conservation

This question, prompted by an ad in Cons DistList, is a bit mean,
but really it is a serious question in the accreditation debate.

What *do* employers consider to be a "professional qualification in
conservation" ?

A BA?,  A BA + experience?, and if so, a BA in what?
