The next formal meeting of the Archaeological Leather Group will be
on the topic of leather clothing, with the aim of exploring this
theme through its history, technology and development.

This meeting is not primarily aimed at conservators, but will be of
interest to those who work on leather clothing.

The Archaeological Leather Group exists to promote the study of
leather and leather objects from archaeological contexts by
scientists, conservators, artifact specialists, leather workers and
others interested in the material.  It is a voluntary organisation
which aims to help illuminate the subject from a variety of angles.
