Assistant Librarian (Preservation)

Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Librarian
(Preservation) in the Special Collections Division.  Applicants
should possess a professional qualification in conservation, as well
as experience of substantial utility to the Division's holdings,
which are largely of nineteenth- and twentieth-century papers.  The
successful candidate will also have the potential to make a
significant contribution to the development of techniques of
preservation.  The post is available full-time until 31 July 1999.

Salary will be in the range 15,462-23,241 pounds sterling per annum
on the Senior Library Staff 1/2 Grade.
