Session: Art Conservation, Morning of August 10

I would like to invite anyone interested to attend the conservation
session at this year's joint annual meeting of the Spectroscopy
Society of Canada and The Canadian Thermal Analysis Society.  This
session will address the identification and evaluation of the
condition of museum artifacts and artists' materials.

The conference will take place from August 9-12, 1998, at Queen's
University, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, a picturesque setting on
the St. Lawrence Seaway, close to the 1,000 Islands.  The session on
Art Conservation will be on the morning of August 10th.
