The Graphic Conservation  Company in Chicago, Illinois is seeking
graduates of a recognized conservation training program for a
one-year full time position, with the possibility of a permanent
staff position.  This private paper conservation lab has provided
paper conservation for museums, governmental agencies,  corporations
and private clients  since 1982.  The staff includes two Fellows and
one Professional Associate of the American Institute for
Conservation.

Responsibilities include the examination and treatment of a wide
range of works of art on paper.  In addition to excellent
conservation skills, the position requires excellent written,
verbal, and interpersonal skills along with creative thinking and
problem solving ability. Salary is $21,000/annum plus health
