There is no email contact for this job The Denver Museum of Natural History seeks a Department Head and an objects conservator to lead and manage the Museum's Conservation Department staff and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all baseline preservation activities, supervision of staff, and developing and administering conservation budgets. The Department Head is an important member of the Museum's Collections and Research Division management team who participates in policy development, strategic planning, special exhibits planning and other Museum-wide activities. Candidates must have a graduate degree or equivalent experience in conservation plus 5 years Museum conservation experience, previous supervisory experience, demonstrated written and verbal skills, planning and organizational skills, and a strong working knowledge of the properties of organic and inorganic materials.
