Tinware

From: Dominique Rogers <Do>
Date: Saturday, June 27, 1998
Tinware is made of thin sheets of iron which are tin or zinc plated
rust occurs when the plating decays or is scratched and exposes the
iron.

I have successfully treated rust patches on tinware or toleware with
Jennolite RRPL (a rust inhibitor). Check the health and safety. I
protected the edges with B72 before applying the jennolite to stop
it spreading.
