The Bodleian Library, University of Oxford, UK has the following

Salary Scale : 12,396 - 14,799 Pounds p.a.

An internship of eighteen months is available within the
Preservation and Conservation Department of the Bodleian Library.
The position, funded by a grant from Marks & Spencer, is open to
anyone who has recently completed a degree or equivalent in book,
paper or library and archive conservation.

It is intended to provide a work opportunity for someone wishing to
gain wider and deeper experience in conservation within the context
of a major library.

Temporary, Senior Conservation Assistant
Technical Grade D
Salary Scale: 12,396 - 14,799 Pounds p.a.

The Bodleian Library is seeking a paper conservator to join its
Preservation and Conservation Department. The post is full-time, for
a period of two years and is based in the paper conservation
workshop.

The successful candidate will devise and perform appropriate
conservation treatments to a wide range of library materials
including printed books, manuscripts and drawings.  In addition,
they will be expected to assist with the mounting and installation
of exhibitions, provide advice on the conservation and storage of
library materials and take part in the day-to-day maintenance of the
Workshop.

Applications are invited from candidates with a degree or equivalent
in paper conservation and a minimum of two years relevant
post-qualification experience.  Chemistry and/or physics to "A"
level or above is desirable.
