Professionalism and certification

I did not quote Barbara Appelbaum, or anyone other than myself in my
response to Jerry Podany's query because the current copyright law
protects their correspondence; it does not prevent me from referring
to the correspondence.

With Barbara's permission, I would be willing to reprint her last
letter to me on this issue (dated 23 February, 1986).

I hope that she gives her permission; it is a good and honest
summation of the frustration she felt at the time.

I have not provided any documents to the current committee; they
would only be duplicates of documentation which AIC censored last
time.  If the committee wishes to see them they have only to look in
their files.  The law has not changed in any significant way since
that time.
