    International Opportunities for U.S. Faculty and Professionals

    Summary: Over 700 grants are available to college/university
    faculty and nonacademic professionals to lecture or pursue
    advanced research and/or related professional activity abroad.
    Grants are offered in nearly 130 countries for the 1999-2000
    academic year.

    Application Deadline: August 1, 1998
    Special programs (e.g., international education administrators
    seminars, NATO) have later deadlines.
