Summer Employment and Internship Opportunities Alexandria Archaeology Museum Office of Historic Alexandria City of Alexandria, Virginia Conservation Assistant Assist a professional conservator in treating archaeological materials recovered from a waterlogged 19th century site. The preferred candidate will have completed a basic conservation course and will have employment or internship experience working with collections. 400 hours @ $10/hour (30-40 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday) Archaeology Laboratory Assistant Catalogue artifacts from a 19th century archaeological site. Assist with conservation project and collections management projects related to the site. The preferred candidate will have experience in cataloguing 19th century artifacts, including familiarity with ceramics and glass identification, and will have employment or internship experience working with collections. 400 hours @ $10/hour (30-40 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday) Summer Interns Unpaid internships are also being offered, to assist with the above projects.
