The Department of Conservation Studies of the Espoo-Vantaa
Polytechnical University in Vantaa (Helsinki) will host the
conference. Papers and posters will be presented on the 13th, 14th
and 15th interspersed with visits to a glass factory and glass
museums. A one-day excursion is planned on Sept. 16 to Tallinn,
Estonia. The papers and poster abstracts will be published in a
Preprints volume which will be distributed at the conference.

Polytechnical University, Lummetie 2, 01300 Vantaa, Helsinki,
Finland, tel. 3589-4178-7206, fax 3589-4178-7202. After June 1
participants are on their own for arranging lodging in Helsinki. The
registration fee for ICOM members is 350 Fmk (65 $ US) and for
non-members 450 Fmk (82 $ US). The registration fee is waived for
students and participants from the Balkan and Eastern European
countries, South American and Africa.
