Call for papers--IADA Congress

This is the last announcement to hand in previously unpublished
papers on project work and research for the 9th Congress of IADA.

The following subject areas are called for: storage and collections
care, exhibitions and transport, condition and treatment
documentation, minimal intervention in book conservation, treatment
of large-scale items, modern media--their production and ageing
properties, synthetics in conservation, contemporary art on paper.

Reports on experiences concerning the relationship
between conservator and artist and its relevance to
ethical considerations are of particular interest.
Suggestions in other subject areas are also welcome.
The last possible handing-in date is 30 June
1998. Please send to:
