Facing materials for mosaics

To perform an adhesive transfer of 24,520 sq inches of marquetry, I
used BEVA and Reemay (spun polyester) to lift the 1/32" wood
veneer/surface coating. This arrangement held in register all the
the veneer segments.  The Beva soaked through the Reemay and
provided adhesion and a dimensionally stable over face.
