Special Collections-Preservation Librarian Organize, develop, manage, promote special collections and archives; develop/implement preservation program with various library and campus constituencies. Responsible for policies, access, grantswriting, exhibits, cataloging of spec. colls. Required: ALA-accredited MLS; 30 additional graduate credits for Assistant Professor rank; 3-5 years exp. in preservation/special collections, thorough knowledge of professional standards, high-level computer skills, grantsmanship. Excellent management, supervisory, communication skills. Preferred: extensive training in two or all of the following: preservation, special collections, rare books, archives.
