Removal of crayon markings

Re the query on removal of crayon stains; by chance last week I ran
across a reference in one of those Consumer Reports books on "How to
Clean Almost Anything" to 1-800-CRAYOLA; apparently this is a number
to help distraught parents when their kids draw all over the house.
This might be a resource worth trying--though as Peggy Ellis pointed
out in her previous posting, there are likely to be complications
the Crayola people won't be aware of..
