Subject: Digital cameras
I've used digital backs on 35mm cameras, with a standard slide copying "lens". I would not want to use the resulting picture for archival or print purposes, but for a web page it should be fine. I was using quite a sophisticated Nikon setup, which was attached to the SCSI port of a Macintosh, and using Adobe Photoshop to acquire the image, so I could see what I was getting, choose suitable resolutions etc. If I were to do it again, for simplicity and zero capital outlay I would just use a conventional camera and get the pictures "developed" to Kodak Photo CD.
