The following Positions Available add ran in the January Issue of
the AIC Newsletter with A Feb.1 start date.  The start date for this
position has been changed from February 1 to July 1, 1998.

The Shelburne Museum seeks a full-time objects conservator to treat
folk art and decorative art objects and train and supervise
conservation interns, technicians, and volunteers in treatment
support roles.  The successful candidate will have the knowledge and
ability to treat a broad range of object types, experience treating
composite objects, and good communication skills.  Experience with
conservation of painted surfaces and ethnographic objects is
desirable.  Application open to graduates following the AIC
guidelines.  At least two years of conservation experience beyond a
master's degree is preferred  The position is available *July 1,*
1998 and offers a competitive salary and good benefits.  Interested
