Subject: Call for papers--CAC annual meeting
The Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property (CAC), formally IIC-CG, will join the Yukon in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Klondike Gold Rush by holding its 24th Annual Conference and Workshop in Whitehorse, Yukon, May 27 to 31, 1998. Papers are invited on all aspects of conservation of museum, archival and fine arts collections, including case studies, ethics, administration and conservation science. We especially welcome papers that expand on the theme of the workshop: Critical Issues in the Conservation of Ethnographic Collections. Presentations are normally 20 minutes in length. Abstracts of 250-400 words must be submitted by Friday, January 23, 1998. Posters are also invited. A short summary of the topic should also be submitted by January 23, 1998.
