The Intermuseum Laboratory
Allen Art Building on the Oberlin
College campus in Oberlin, Ohio 44074
March 23-25, 1998

The Intermuseum Laboratory, a regional, nonprofit, art conservation
lab, will offer a three day course on the Care of Photographic
Collections. Topics to be discussed include: the history of
photography, process identification, storage environments and
enclosures, exhibition, cold storage and reformatting (both
conventional and digital). The goal of the workshop is to provide
curators, registrars, archivists, preparators and collectors with
the information and tools to best care for their photographic
collection. The course will be conducted by visiting photograph
conservator Andrew Robb and ICA paper conservator Moyna Stanton.
