Care of Photographic Collections The Intermuseum Laboratory Allen Art Building on the Oberlin College campus in Oberlin, Ohio 44074 March 23-25, 1998 The Intermuseum Laboratory, a regional, nonprofit, art conservation lab, will offer a three day course on the Care of Photographic Collections. Topics to be discussed include: the history of photography, process identification, storage environments and enclosures, exhibition, cold storage and reformatting (both conventional and digital). The goal of the workshop is to provide curators, registrars, archivists, preparators and collectors with the information and tools to best care for their photographic collection. The course will be conducted by visiting photograph conservator Andrew Robb and ICA paper conservator Moyna Stanton.
