Solvents for epoxy

This is in answer to Mark Vines inquiry about a solvent for removing
Epo-Tek 301-2.  France Remillard wrote a paper (Journal of the
IIC-GC, volume 14, 1989, p12) concerning the swelling of several
epoxies. Epo-Tek 301-2 was one of the epoxies that she studied.  She
found that chloroform was the best sweller followed by methylene
chloride, then THF, and then a 1:1 mix of DMF:THF.  She did not test
ethyl lactate. Hope this helps,
