Bookbinding equipment

I'm looking for an  equipment for binding of sheaves of archives
(paper; 80g/m2, size A4). The binding should consist of a thread of
cotton or linen stitched along the spine. The thickness of the
sheaves varies from a few millimeters up to an inch. The equipment
have to be fast (approximately 100 sheaves per hour) and easy to
operate. Can you recommend any equipment or dealers I should
contact?

What's your opinion about using staples of stainless steel in
binding of archives? Experiences, disadvantages and advantages ?
