Yale University Library is pleased to announce that David Walls has
taken up his duties as Preservation Librarian in the Preservation
Department.  David is a December 1995 graduate of the University of
Texas at Austin Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
David did his undergraduate work at Baylor University, majoring in
English and History. Prior to his appointment at Yale, David was a
Project Consultant at the Georgia Department of Archives and History
where he developed and implemented a training program for records
managers in basic preservation techniques, digital imaging, and
disaster preparedness.  While still in Texas, David was a computer
technology specialist for five years at The Learning Skills Center
at UT Austin. David can be reached at the Yale University Library
