Subject: Call for Papers--SHARP
1997 Sharp Conference Final Call For Papers If you've put it off until now, this is a last reminder to submit proposals for the fifth annual conference of the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing, which will meet 4-7 July 1997 at Cambridge University. Once again, there is no limitation on topics within the broad rubric of script or print history. You may submit proposals for individual papers (20 minutes), full panels (three papers and a chair), or shorter presentations of works in progress. But do not delay. The *absolute* deadline for receipt of proposals is 20 November. Abstracts (one page maximum) should be sent to James Raven, Chair, SHARP Conference Programme Committee, 51 Sherlock Close, Cambridge CB3 0HP, United Kingdom. Graduate students who present papers may apply for a travel grant of $250: simply mention in your cover letter that you wish to be considered for this award. All other participants will be expected to pay their own expenses, including the registration fee. All presenters must be or become members of SHARP. For membership information, contact the SHARP Membership Secretary, Dr. Linda Connors, at lconnors [at] drew__edu. *** Conservation DistList Instance 10:45 Distributed: Thursday, November 7, 1996 Message Id: cdl-10-45-029 ***Received on Friday, 1 November, 1996
