Polyethylene

I am seeking references that address chemical testing and/or long
term studies regarding the stability of polyethylene products of the
type commonly used in archival and collections storage.  I would
also be interested in opinions about the consistency of the quality
of the products obtained from various manufacturers who sell
polyethylene products advertized as "archival quality."
