Louis Grell

Does anyone have information on the work of Louis Grell. a Chicago
artist who painted murals during the 1920's?  He was a professor of
art at the University of Chicago and was associated with United
Studios in Chicago. Three of his murals have been recently uncovered
in a Pennsylvania theater and any information on him would be
appreciated.
