Two temporary positions are offered at Queensland Museum in the conservation section. Historic/Organic Objects is for a minimum period of 2 years. Maritime Archaeological Objects is for a minimum period of 6 months. Conservation Scientist (Historic/Organic Objects) A temporary position in the Queensland Museum exists for a temporary qualified scientist with competence and experience with historic/organic objects. Duties include conservation, restoration, repair, research, communication to a variety of clients, fieldwork and maintenance of records. The salary for this position starts at $1073.80 a fortnight.
