Positions at RMCC

From: Lori A. Mellon <lmellon>
Date: Thursday, October 3, 1996
Rocky Mountain Conservation Center in Denver has openings for an
objects conservator and a photographs/paper conservator. Each
position will have the normal responsibilities of a conservator to
examine, condition, propose, and carry out treatments. The
candidates selected must be skilled at estimating time required to
perform treatments as well as enjoy interacting with non-profit
clients and the public. As a regional center, we serve the Rocky
Mountain/Great Plains states and so the conservators will be
expected to travel occasionally. An interest in and ability to
teach pre-program students and a college-level conservation theory
course are important. Computer skills (PC-based, Microsoft software
preferred) are essential.

The positions are available until filled. Excellent benefits,
salary commensurate with experience. RMCC is a unit of the
University of Denver, an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity
Employer. Full job descriptions will be available at the WAAC
Conference (see Hays Shoop). For further information Contact
