Disaster supplies list available

From: Michele R. Mednick <mmednick>
Date: Friday, September 27, 1996
LAPNet, The Los Angeles Preservation Network, is pleased to announce
the 2nd Edition of the List of Supplies and Suppliers (1996) and
Consultants List (1996) are now available.

The List of Disaster Supplies and Suppliers gives information about
vendors of supplies and services under subject headings like
"Drying, Forklifts, Insect Infestation", etc. Following each entry
relevant information such as phone number, address, prices and whom
to contact for services can be found. There is a bias towards
vendors in and around the Los Angeles area or national buyers with
local outlets.

Disaster Consultants is a select, nation-wide listing of individuals
who can be contracted for advice, if your library suffers a disaster
to which your institution cannot properly respond to. Consultants
are listed under specialities, such as "Earthquake Recovery, Mold",
etc. There is also a section for you to list specialists in your
own institution.

Disaster Consultants $20.00
List of Disaster Supplies and Suppliers $35.00
Both Lists $45.00
