Vibration

In response to Kaja Kollandsrud request for information on the effect of
vibrations on collections: I do not know of any studies, but the Getty
Conservation Institute has done studies on the effects of earth quakes on
buildings and collections and how to protect collections from earthquakes
that might prove useful.  The GCI's web site address is
