Rollataq Adhesive System

From: Christine Wiseman <cwiseman>
Date: Thursday, August 29, 1996
A question came through the SOLINET Information and Referral Service
about a new product advertised as an alternative to a dry mount type
of adhesive. It is called the Rollataq Adhesive System by Daige,
Inc. and is advertised as being acid-free, non-yellowing and
providing a permanent bond. The "system" includes an electrically
operated roller that applies the adhesive. The brochure provided no
information about the composition of the adhesive.

The caller was interested in using this adhesive to attach
photographs to theses and dissertations as opposed to using a dry
mount type. Is anyone familiar with this product? And are there
suggestions for alternative methods for attaching photographs to
dissertations and theses?
