Disaster Preparedness and Response Workshops Disasters happen everyday. What if a flood or fire strikes your collection? Will you be ready? See how disasters have affected libraries and archives and what actions are necessary to preserve your institution's collection. Remember, the first 18-36 hours are crucial to the preservation of your collection. Learn to write a disaster plan for the immediate actions you must take.
