Preservation Microfilming Workshop Chapel Hill, North Carolina As part of its preservation microfilming workshop series the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) will present a three day workshop from September 9-11, 1996 at the Wilson Library, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. The workshop is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and The H.W. Wilson Foundation. Faculty will include Susan Wrynn, Director of Reprographic Services, NEDCC; Andrew Raymond, regional Advisory Officer, New York State Archives. and guest speakers Steven L. Hensen, Director of Planning and Project Development, Duke University, and Natalia Smith, Digitization Project Librarian, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The cost to participants is $200. The price of the workshop includes the cost of Preservation Microfilming: A Guide for Librarians and Archivists, 2nd ed., edited by Lisa Fox, Preservation Consultant. If a participant does not wish to order the book, the cost of the workshop is $150. Fliers and registration forms should be available by Aug 1, 1996.
