Disaster recovery networks

The Kansas Disaster Recovery Assistance Network, or K-DRAN, is in
its early stages of development.  I am seeking from the members of
this list the names, addresses, and numbers of persons that can be
contacted concerning the development of their state-wide disaster
recovery networks.

K-DRAN will be a state-wide network open to diverse Kansas
institutions, such as museums, libraries, archives, etc.  It will
encourage institutions to develop disaster plans and to practice
disaster prevention methods.  K-DRAN will also provide the
information necessary to attain these ends.  Lastly, the network
will assist institutions in recovering from disasters.  It is the
goal of the K-DRAN Steering Committee to have the network in place
by early 1997.
