Glue gun hot melt adhesives

I am posting this question on behalf of a colleague who read an
article in the past couple of years which discussed the various
properties of the hot melt adhesives made for glue guns. Apparently
discussed were the desirable behaviors of the adhesives as a
function of their melting point.

Trouble is, we can't seem to find the article.  We've looked through
the CoOL database and BCIN, and nothing looks right. It's time to
give up on computers and rely in brain power.  Has anyone out there
read an article which might fit the above topic?
