The book being offered is devoted to one of the most important aspects of library collections preservation, namely biological deterioration of paper and books. This is the most complete study in the Russian national and foreign literature published by the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It has been written by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Yuliya P. Nyuksha, a world-famous scientist, who has for nearly five decades assembled unique material working at conservation departments of largest libraries at St.-Petersburg. ...
