Practical Solutions to Fossil Problems
30th September - 4th October, 1996

The Palaeontology Laboratory of the Natural History Museum, London,
UK is running a one week intensive school in practical aspects of
fossil conservation, preparation and replication. This week of hands
on training is aimed at conservators, curators and preparators who
wish to develop new skills or extend existing expertise.

The course fee is #520 exclusive of travel, accommodation and meal costs.

5th Symposium of Palaeontological Preparation and Conservation
10th September, 1996

The 5th SPPC will be held in the Department of Palaeontology, The
Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7 5BD.

The SPPC is an informal meeting aimed at keeping workers in the
field of fossil preparation and conservation in touch with current
developments. Speakers are invited to give short presentations and
registration is a nominal #2.50 payable on the day.
