Position at Oberlin

Special Collections and Preservation Librarian
Oberlin College

Due to a recent resignation the Oberlin College Library now has the
full time position, listed below, in special collections and
preservation.  The half time preservation position advertised in
April and May has been withdrawn. Applicants for the earlier posting
will be contacted and are welcome to indicate an interest in the
full time job if they so desire.

Coordinates special collections and preservation programs in an
outstanding college library.  REQUIRED:  Sound liberal arts
education; academic library experience; knowledge of rare books and
special collections, preservation and conservation techniques, and
preservation program administration; demonstrated supervisory
ability; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong
service orientation; planning and organizational skills; commitment
to professional development.
