Reporting to the President, this position has primary responsibility
for developing preservation microfilming and digital scanning
projects including proposal and contract development, project
implementation and documentation, scheduling and client
communication. Responsible for the successful coordination and
overview of new projects throughout the organization.

Researches and develops new product and service ideas.  Assists in
new service and business planning and development, including
scanning services. Assists in the development of information
products and literature about the company and its preservation
products and services.

Provides consultation services as a Preservation Resources
representative. Conducts workshops, participates in and represents
the company at industry conferences and professional organizations.

In addition to an accredited MLS, requirements are: 3 to 5 years
mgmt experience, preferably in preservation,  systems or special
collections context; strong computer and analytical skills; strong
organizational and problem solving skills; formal training or
experience in preservation; excellent writing and presentation
skills; demonstrated ability to work successfully in a production,
deadline driven environment.

Preservation Resources, a division of OCLC, is a not-for-profit
