Advanced Photographic System IX240

Recently in the Australian photographic press there has been great
excitement over the launch of the Advanced Photographic System,
IX240.  From a consumer point of view, it sounds great, but as a
conservator, I am wondering if any stability/longevity tests have
been done on the new film format: what is the magnetic layer on the
back of the film made of; how is it adhered to the film base; how
stable are the dyes?, etc.?  If anyone knows of any work that has
been done on this material, I would be pleased to hear from you.
