The ICI Conservation Division is seeking an assistant conservator to
perform moderately complex treatments in most areas of book and
paper conservation.

This individual will work under the supervision of the Chief
Conservator. The candidate will occasionally be required to make
independent treatment decisions, assist with surveys and
examinations and condition reports, and assist with training of new
employees.

Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of bench
experience, and should be actively pursuing professional development
in the field of book and paper conservation.  The salary range will
be based on experience and qualifications.

The Conservation Division of ICI offers high-quality, economical,
and timely preservation and conservation services for libraries,
archives, museums, historical societies, and other collection
holding institutions as well as for individuals.  We provide
professional conservation treatment of books, documents and art on
paper for  large scale projects and for single items.
