Workshop on restoration of glass vessels

A five day practical course will be held at the Opleiding
Restauratoren in Amsterdam (NL) from 15 - 19 July 1996.

This practical course for conservators/restorers teaches techniques
of repair and restoration of glass vessels using synthetic resins
(on modern glass during the course). This involves mould making
techniques using silicon rubber and wax; casting of resin into the
mould and finishing and retouching processes. Discussion on other
aspect of glass conservation (e.g. cleaning and consolidation) will
also be included. Price 385 Br.pounds.
