Administrivia--DistList on hiatus

Just a reminder: I will be on vacation from February 8 through March
4, and the DistList will *not* be available during that period, so
if you have anything time-sensitive, please get it in before
February 7. Anything received after February 7 will be saved and
posted sometime during the week of March 4. Conservation OnLine
(http://palimpsest.stanford.edu) will, of course, remain online.

The address to subscribe/unsubscribe, etc is
    consdist-request [at] lindy__stanford__edu

NB. Messages sent to the wrong address (especially messages sent to
my personal mailbox) will be deleted unread! No exceptions.
