Contributing authors are needed for a publication on fill materials
used in the conservation of 3-dimensional objects. Authors willing
to write review articles, short contributions, or to provide
bibliographic entries are being solicited. Possible topics include:
(1) traditional/obsolete materials, (2) bulked conservation adhesive
materials, i.e. fills based on B-72, cellulose ethers, BEVA, epoxy,
etc., (3) transparent or translucent, reversible fill materials,
i.e. for enamels, stone, etc., (4) vinyl based proprietary fill
materials, (5) fills for outdoor applications, (6) fills for modern
synthetic works.

The articles and contributions are being solicited and compiled by a
committee of members of the Objects Specialty Group. All materials
will be presented to the AIC Journal for publication in a special
issue devoted to fill materials. Please contact Ellen Pearlstein
and Jane Williams at The Brooklyn Museum before April 15, 1996 to
indicate your interest. Short contributions will be welcome through
June, 1996. Review articles and bibliography must be submitted by
September, 1996.
